About me

My name is Raphaël Hoesli and I am passionate about photography since my childhood. I was first attracted by wildlife & nature photography and I then widened my horizons with urban and people photography. Whether in the most pristine nature or in the most populated cities of the world, I like to capture striking moments because of the shear beauty and the strong messages they enclose. I work mainly in black and white because it represents, in my opinion, the essence of photography which is capturing light. I also believe that there is nothing more beautiful to render the subtleties of light and shadows than a stunning black and white fine art print.
